A collection of 110 NFTs has been minted on the Ethereum network, each one celebrating an object of the Messier Catalog, published in late 18th century by the French astronomer Charles Messier.
Messier was a comet hunter: his Catalog listed those astral objects he observed not being comets. The Catalog is final, no more objects will ever be added to it, making this NFT collection naturally scarce.
Collecting a piece of this work expresses appreciation for these wonders and will directly support the amateur astronomy community who shared with us these fantastic images.

It is a project by Inner Space, an italian ambient electronic
music composer based in Berlin.
Each art piece is made from an image selected from Astrobin.com,
the main community of amateur
astrophotograpers, and a music score generated by the background star field of the image.
The profit from each NFT sale will be split between the photographer (50%), Inner Space (40%) and
Astrobin (10%).
50% of each NFT sale will go to the respective photographer.
10% of the overall sale will be transferred to Astrobin to support the community.
All the hashes of the compositions start with the Messier number of the object :)
